Shayla Johnson

Shayla has a taste for the organic and the handmade. She also spearheads Jell’s technical initiatives on the server side, and she generally prevails as the ultimate judge of good sense when risky options are on the table. Formerly an instructor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she received her MFA, Shayla grew up in Jacksonville and schooled in Atlanta. She previously worked as designer/illustrator for NOVIENT and The Morrison Agency. She mentors a local youth group, avidly dabbles in nature excursions, and once considered a career in professional singing. (But she won’t sing for us.)
